Asanas for Pranayama

All Pranayama techniques are performed in a seated position.

The recommended asanas are:

  1. Padma Asana (Lotus Pose)

2. Ananda Asana (Half Lotus Pose)

3. Vajra Asana

4. Danda Asana with the back supported by a wall

5. Baddha Konasana with the back supported by a wall

 

If none of the above asanas are feasible, Pranayama can be performed while seated on a chair.
