A unique method of practicing yoga. Atma Suddhi means purity of the soul.
Atma Suddhi Krama are yoga sessions developed by Krishnamacharya that help awaken and deepen the understanding and perception of the soul.
According to Krishnamacharya, this session is designed for people from the West to inspire them to discover and follow their spiritual path, leading them to experience the soul (Atma) beyond doctrines and religions.
In this program, I present this session in its original form.
In this workshop, you will learn:
The original structure of the Atma Suddhi Krama session.
The 4 pranayamas and the 8 asanas included in the session.
The Dharana technique and how it is applied in pranayamas and asanas.
What Mudras are in Yoga and how to perform them.
How this method differs from other Yoga practices.
This is an authentic Yoga method derived from the tradition of Sri T. Krishnamacharya, widely regarded as the father of modern Yoga.
A distinctive aspect of this practice is the combination of asanas, breathwork, and concentration, in the sense of focusing awareness and gaze on a vital point (Dharana technique). According to Krishnamacharya, Yoga can only occur when these elements align in an organic union.
This is a balanced practice featuring:
Asanas focused on breathwork to purify the body.
Mudras designed to neutralize emotions that affect us.
Pranayamas aimed at purifying the mind and restoring the basic physical state required for meditation practice, enabling the recovery of spiritual concentration.
